NRA First Steps

(10am - 1pm OR 2pm - 5pm) First Steps is an introductory course to revolvers and semi-auto pistols for beginners offering hands-on, user friendly training. In the classroom students learn: Basic safety rules and procedures Handgun components and functioning Loading and unloading Fundamental shooting techniques On the range students learn: Students practice classroom teachings through live-fire excersises using Vandalia Range & Armory pistols and revolvers at a distance of 9 feet. Students will experience fundamental shooting with calibers consisting of: .22 Caliber .38/.357 Magnum revolver 9mm semi-auto pistol .45acp semi-auto pistol Range time, targets, ammunition, hearing protection and safety glasses provided
