Member News Letter October 1, 2008

Members and patrons,

We hope that everyone is enjoying the fall weather and is staying as busy. We hope to see everyone in our store soon. Your business is greatly appreciated and we are proud to serve each and everyone one of you. We hope that your time at Vandalia Range and Armory is pleasant and fun! Our underground rifle range is nearly finished. We picked up our target system from customs last week, and are in the process of installation. This is the final piece to our entire addition. We will have our rifle range and additional pistol lanes open in the month of October! There has not been an official date set, but we will be sure to notify everyone as soon as we decide on one.

We are looking forward to opening this addition and giving everyone a place to shoot their long guns! The price of the rifle range will be $18 an hour for non-members and $10 an hour for members. We will only be having hour time slots on the rifle range! We will allow members and non-members to reserve a time slot on these lanes to make it more convenient.

In addition to our rifle/pistol lanes we are expanding our showroom as well. We will be increasing our rifle and shotgun inventory. We will also be selling rifle ammo, accessories, and safes. Be sure to look at our showroom addition the next time you are in!

 We will not be having our individual manufacturer’s tournament this month. We will continue to postpone this tournament while we are finishing up our addition. We will continue this tournament at a date to be announced. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We still have a waiting list for the Ruger LCP .380. This firearm is great for conceal and carry purposes. You can view this firearm online at www.ruger-firearms.com. Ruger has come out with its 50^th Anniversary Bearcat revolver chambered in .22 LR. This revolver is outlaid in gold and would be great for everyone’s collection. Be sure to look at this fine firearm. The price of the Bearcat model is $619.00.

We now have the Sig .556 pistol in stock. This firearm is based off the popular .556 AR rifle made by Sig Sauer. The price of this firearm is $1539.00. You can view it online at www.sigarms.com.

Everyone needs to take a look at the Heine 9mm 1911 by Nighthawk the next time they are in our store. This firearm has the quality and craftsmanship of a Nighthawk 1911, but is chambered in 9mm. We have added an abundance of assault rifles in our store over the past month. As our rifle range and additional pistol lanes are completed we will be adding more.
